Road Roller operator training is designed to enable new operators to complete specific job tasks using the Road Roller loader in a safe and efficient manner; to give an understanding of the seriousness of operating a Road Roller; and to outline the responsibilities for operating a Road Roller. Upon successful completion, individuals will receive a certification that is valid for 3 years.

This program is divided into theory sections and a practical component. The practical exercise consists of maneuvering a Road Roller through a predetermined obstacle course while performing several functions. It is recommended that the student gain more experience with the Road Roller under the direct supervision of a competent operator during the training to ensure that he or she are competent enough to take up a job or role as a competent Road Roller Operator.
