Fall Protection/Arrest Training

Fall Protection / Fall Arrest training program provides workers with the basic knowledge required to work safely in areas exposed to fall hazards. It is intended for any worker who at times is required to work at heights or on lift equipment where fall protection is required. This course will assist participants with when to wear protective equipment and how to use it. The course will review materials associated with connection to anchor points, the physics involved, as well the responsibilities of the employer, supervisor and worker.

• Provide participants a general understanding of the safe and efficient use and care of fall arrest equipment.

• Meet your obligations under the Occupational Health and Safety Act & Regulations.

• Give each participant an opportunity to use a safety harness and adjust correctly to his or her body type.

This program provides workers with the required knowledge to prevent fall related accidents, how to select the proper fall protection components for their application and how to correctly use, inspect and maintain their fall protection system.
